Abstract: The peculiarities of the application of PIV-methods in the study of thermohydraulic processes in large-scale models of nuclear power plants, in particular, the results obtained at the TISEY facility, a large-scale model of a prospective sodium fast reactor, are discussed. Methods of simultaneous use of several lasers for illumination and video cameras for shooting, methods of image processing, calibration and accuracy of measurements are described.
