Abstract: The article deals with the visualization of geophysical data on spherical screens: its relevance, practical importance, approach to the implementation of the hardware component, advantages and disadvantages of different types of screens. The Geophysical Center RAS carries out a project to develop a hardware-software system with a spherical screen, intended primarily for the visualization of all processes taking place on Earth, including those occurring in real time: tsunamis, hurricanes, monitoring of geomagnetic activity, weather, earthquakes. The article describes the methodology of creating spherical presentations, examples of the use of the system and the performance of ORBUS software, which provides interactive data visualization on spherical screen. This complex is unique and has no equivalents in Russia.
