Abstract: With the development of technology and the use of imaging technology, analysis and processing of geospatial data for the various tasks of the national economy is one of the most rapid and cost-based options for obtaining information about the area. In forestry interpretation of aerospace images used for almost half a century, but the organization of aerial territory has always been costly, and the development of satellite imagery stopped at a spatial resolution data of 0.5 meters per pixel, which is often not enough for detailed study of the territory. In this situation, it is appropriate to use data from unmanned aerial vehicles, which have pictures with relatively low cost and high resolution. The authors propose a method for visual representation and automated image processing with the unmanned aerial vehicle as an example of classification and definition of forest plantations parameters.
