Abstract: This paper describes a software tool designed for the visual analysis of two-dimensional fields of physical quantities of RBMK-1000 reactors active zones. The reactor core of the RBMK-1000 consists of 1884 channels. Each channel has an unique set of neutron and thermal-hydraulic characteristics which greatly complicates the analysis of the results of calculations by man.
The developed software tool allows you to present the results of calculations in an uniform color cartogram which greatly simplifies the tasks of debugging and verification of computer codes, helps to quickly identify problem areas in the fields of physical quantities.
The information source for display can be any data storage, ranging from simple text files to remote databases.
