Abstract

Research methods with the use of penetrating radiation, including x-ray, allow one to visualize the phases of fast processes and do not distort the characteristics of the investigated flow of the substance due to the lack of measuring elements that interact with the environment.

The paper presents the basics of x-ray method using mobile devices to obtain visual information about objects under study on test facilities.

The main problems solving with x-ray methods in the various experiments are listed. The paper presents a brief description of the testing schemes and the list of apparatus used for these purposes. The concepts and designs used portable pulsed x-ray units is reviewed.

Non-contact trigger system x-ray equipment is given. The album of x-ray images obtained from studies on test benches is presented.
