Abstract: In the work results of micro-PIV technique application for flow structure investigation in an evaporating sessile droplet is presented. In different stages of droplet evaporation two-component velocity fields were measured on different distances for a substrate. Velocity field measurements were done in a close atmosphere without convective air flows and in open atmosphere with convective air flows. It was shown that convective air flow has pronounced influence on flow structure in a droplet.
