Abstract: Interaction of the vortex ring with torch in the axisymmetric configuration investigated by methods of Hilbert–optics, shearing interferometry and numerical simulation. The modes crushing structure torch, separation and extinguish flames are identified at various regimes of formation of the vortex rings.
