Abstract: |
The rocket sled test track reproduces aerodynamic flight conditions with high fidelity but also produces a series of effects (ignition of a stage surface, condition of slippers by which the sled rides upon rail, catapulting a payload under study from the last stage in aeroballistics tests, etc.) required high quality visualization for further analyzing the data obtained. For these purposes a special registration method based on synchronal-ballistic cameras located along the rocket sled test facility was developed. Technical characteristics of the camera and pictures obtained are presented. |
