Abstract: The article describes methods and approaches underlying the developed application program ClcView for grid functions visualization of multidimensional nonstationary calculations. A modified method based on the “quadtree” algorithm for contouring functions of two variables is suggested. Modifications allow to minimize number of function calls, to exclude possibility of incorrect creation of contour lines and also to solve a problem of identification of the lines corresponding to various levels. The “double window” method allowing to formalize operations of scrolling, scaling and printing images of the objects characterized by coordinates of its points is described. The way of effective access to grid function and “fast” color filling realization in MS Windows for the function visualization are considered. The “fast” color filling method actually allows to exclude influence of bitmap preparation and its display on visualization application program productivity. The universal structure of the data files of 3D calculations and realization of high-speed access to such files are discussed. The offered format is rather convenient for carrying out nonstationary calculations and allows to provide access of the visualization application program to calculated data. The technique of video creation in the MPEG4 format in MS Windows on a basis of the color filling bitmaps representing grid functions on various time points is described. The algorithms offered in article allow to reach productivity close to "real time" indicator (25 frames per second) at creation of full HD video according to nonstationary calculations on rather detailed grids.
